We are just starting to roll out devices. Our parent company set up the server, so I have only experience with the device end. So far we have tested a number of Nokias and HTC (winmo) devices and only rolled out 2 of 12 handsets to our managers (the delay is due to not being able to get our preferred phone - the E75 - from our provider).
I have found setting them up can be a little hit & miss
- at first, it wasn't obvious that the configuration file was zipped and needed to be extracted on the device
- initial data exchange can take quite some time. It drops out & re-connects. It can take up to 12 hrs for the handset to receive all its data. Not sure if this is a problem with our provider, the handsets, or the server.
The feedback once the device is set up is "rock solid".
We are using Telstra (Australia) as a service provider.
